Fun with Seuss!

During the month of February, the Lower School focused on kindness. Our first graders used Book Creator to illustrate a page telling how they could be kind. The pages were combined into class books. Read more about the process on my blog by clicking here.
While on an iOS device having the iBooks app, click on a link below. Choose open in iBooks.
We had fun building with Legos! Students worked in a small group or by themselves to create a Lego structure. They used the iPad to take a photo and then these were added to their Seesaw digital portfolio. The children recorded themselves telling about what they built.
Be sure to take a look at the class grandparent videos. The children were asked questions about grandparents and they had some cute answers! Click on the image below to access the page.
First graders listened to The Dark at the Top of the Stairs, by Sam McBratney. They used the Drawing Pad app to illustrate what they predicted would be at the top of the stairs.
Mrs. Kee asked her students to predict what she would be for Halloween. Find out their predictions in this video.
